Cambodia & Vietnam 12 days
Day 1: Bangkok Meals: None Arrive in Bangkok with your international flight (TBA). Meet upon arrival at the airport with your driver who will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at the Navalai - Serene Corner  Day 2: Bangkok - Surin Meals: B Free morning. Check out time is at noon. Transfer to the railway station on own for your nighttrain to Surin. Overnight on A/C 2nd Class Sleeper Train Thailand Day 3: Surin - Siem Reap Meals: None Arrive in Surin railway station around 05.00 a.m., meet upon arrival at the railway station with your driver who will pick you up at 07.30 a.m, transfer to the Thai/Cambodian border. After finishing the necessary immigration and customs formalities, walk across the border to Anlong Veng where you will meet your driver who will transfer you to Siem Reap. In the late afternoon, you will be dropped off at the hotel in Siem Reap. Overnight at Angkor Holiday Hotel - Superior Room Day 4: Siem Reap Meals: B L Early departure from the hotel. Visit the walled city of Angkor Thom. Continue on to visit, amongst others, the Bayon, the Gate of Angkor Thom, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of the Elephants. Return to Siem Reap for lunch at the stylish Foreign Correspondents Club. The whole afternoon is set aside for a visit to the main temple, Angkor Wat. For an altogether different perspective of this marvellous temple, there is the option to board the hot-air balloon, set up just outside the main entrance. Overnight at Angkor Holiday Hotel - Superior Room Day 5: Siem Reap Meals: B L Early departure to Angkor, to visit Pre Rup, Banteay Samre and Ta Prohm, which is famous for its walls overgrown by huge tropical figtrees. Also visit an interesting exposition of the World Monuments Fund at Preah Khan. Lunch at the local restaurant. This afternoon browse the market for souvenirs, or return to Angkor to visit temples you may have missed, or re-visit the ones you liked the best. Overnight at Angkor Holiday Hotel - Superior Room Day 6: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh Meals: B At 07:00 a.m., you will be transferred to Bus Station 7 kms from Siem Reap Town, where you will a public bus for the trip to Phnom Penh. After approximately 5-6 hours of drive, you will arrive in the Bus Station Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Here, you will be picked up by your private car for a transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Kabiki - Superior Room Day 7: Phnom Penh Meals: B Free day. Overnight at Kabiki - Superior Room Day 8: Phnom Penh - Chau Doc Meals: B Today, you will be transferred to the pier for board a Hang Chau public boat to Chau Doc. You need a valid Vietnamese visa. After finishing the necessary immigration and customs formalities at the Cambodian/ Vietnamese checkpoint, continue by Hang Chau boat to Chau Doc. The Hang Chau boat moors behind your hotel. Overnight at Hai Chau Hotel - Standard Room Day 9: Chau Dac - Cantho Meals: B After breakfast, depart for Can Tho via Long Xuyen by the air-conditioned car from hotel at 08.30 a.m. The driver will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight at Asia Hotel Cantho - Standard Room Day 10: Cantho - Saigon Meals: B L + Local Guide This morning, starts with a very early breakfast! The local guide will pick you up at 06.30 a.m. and bring you to the boat station for a boat-trip to the floating markets of Cai Rang and Phong Dien. You will go back to Can Tho for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Ho Chi Minh City where you arrive in the late afternoon at your hotel. Overnight at Mai Gia Huy Hotel - Standard Room Day 11: Saigon Meals: B Free day. Overnight at Mai Gia Huy Hotel - Standard Room Day 12: Saigon Meals: B Free morning. Check out time is at noon. You will be transferred to the airport, train station or bus station. End of Service |
